Day 5

Our first two pictures are of our apartment. It is not very big but it treats us well. The kitchen, bed, TV area and closet are all in the same room. The second picture is of the shower. Yes, as you can see, it is just an extension of the sink. There is no division between the shower, sink, and toilet. The whole room is the shower. All and all, it’s not that bad. Best part of the apartment; heated floors. Also, we have our own little enclosed porch with our own washing machine.
The third picture is a scene that shows the area just off of our street. It has a unique feel because it is very urban but surrounded by mountains. We have so many restaurants and shops here we think it may take all year to visit them all. Everything we could want is within four blocks of us. We think we live in a very upscale part of Korea. Everyone is very trendy with very expensive cars, clothes, and restaurants. It feels like a Korean version of Lincoln Park in Chicago.
Today we are taking the train into Seoul. More pictures to come
